Photodom Vintage Camera 90-Day Warranty Policy

Coverage Period: This warranty covers any vintage cameras purchased from Photodom, NYC, for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.

What is Covered: This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Should a defect arise during the warranty period, Photodom will either repair the defective camera, supply a replacement, or offer a refund, at our discretion.

What is Not Covered:

  1. Damage caused by the user, including but not limited to physical damage (cracks, scratches, etc.), improper handling or storage, exposure to liquid, heat, or corrosive substances.
  2. Problems or damage resulting from:
    • Modifications, alterations, tampering, or improper maintenance or repairs by the user or any unauthorized third party.
    • Connection to any equipment not supplied or approved by Photodom.
    • External causes such as accidents or natural disasters.
  3. Loss of revenue, profit, or any other financial losses incurred as a result of the equipment not functioning properly, regardless of whether it is due to a defect, maintenance issues, or any other cause.

Voiding the Warranty:

  1. This warranty is void if repairs are attempted by anyone other than an authorized Photodom technician. Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations to the equipment will result in the immediate termination of this warranty.
  2. The use of non-approved accessories, parts, or components will also void this warranty.

Claim Process:

  1. To initiate a warranty claim, contact Photodom customer service within the warranty period with proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
  2. The camera must be delivered to our service center for inspection. The customer is responsible for all costs associated with transporting the camera to and from the service center.

Limitations of Liability: Photodom is not responsible for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, even if Photodom has been advised of the possibility of such damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profit, or any other financial losses.
